DoorDash gift card stacking with a promo code — did it work for anyone?

Trying to combine a DoorDash gift card balance with a first-order promo code. App won't let me apply both at checkout, anyone found a workaround?

DoorDash usually only allows one promo per order, gift card balance applies automatically at payment but won't stack with a percent-off code.
